Synopsis
Off the West Coast of Scotland lies the Sound of Jura, the UK’s first Hope Spot. Jane Smith, a local wildlife artist, has spent decades learning and studying every little detail about this world through her art. From the squirrels in the coastal rainforests lining the shore, to the seals flying gracefully above rich kelp beds, everything here influences her work.
But this unique world is under threat. Scallop dredging and fish farming threaten to destroy this pristine ecosystem and turn it into a barren wasteland. Can Jane use her artwork as a way to protect these oceans from over-development, and raise awareness for the plight of this magical place she calls home?
